Vince Parisi
Vince Parisi serves as President and Chief Operating Officer at NIPSCO. He has profit and loss responsibility for the company and oversight of risk management, regulatory, legislative and external strategies. He oversees the delivery of safe, reliable energy to 859,000 gas customers and 483,000 electric customers in northern Indiana.
Previously, Parisi served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Columbia Gas of Ohio, President of U.S. Utilities for AES Corporation, General Counsel for Gas Natural, Inc., and General Counsel for IGS Energy.
PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
Parisi has more than 20 years of experience in the regulated utilities industry. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Dayton Power and Light Company and Indianapolis Power and Light Company, where he was responsible for overall business results for each utility, enhancing customer and stakeholder experience, and providing leadership for the company’s strategic plans. Parisi also served as General Counsel for Gas Natural, Inc., a publicly traded parent company to multiple state natural gas distribution companies. He also served as General Counsel for IGS Energy, a competitive energy company operating across the U.S. based in Dublin, Ohio.
Most recently, he served as the President and Chief Operating
Officer of Columbia Gas of Ohio, focused on delivering safe, reliable and efficient natural gas to 1.4 million customers across the company’s service area.
During his previous tenure with Columbia Gas, Parisi served as Vice President, External and Customer Affairs for Columbia Gas of Ohio, in charge of leading customer and stakeholder experiences, economic development, large customer relationships,
government affairs, regulatory affairs, customer care and compliance, energy efficiency, community affairs, and communications.
BOARD AND CIVIC INVOLVEMENT
Some of Parisi’s board involvement includes the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, the Indiana Energy Agency, One Region Inc. and the Capital University Board of Trustees.
EDUCATION
Parisi has a bachelor’s degree in economics from The Ohio State University. He also earned both a Juris Doctorate and his LL.M. in business and tax from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.
